Peyton's old and he hasn't taken the hits he'll take during the season. Plus Baltimore lost the following starters: 2x Safetys, 2x Linebackers, 1x DE(possibly a LB-not sure), 1x WR, 1x TE. Then during the game they lost their #2 receiver. Only so much you can do at that point.

can some one say Peyton Manning!!!

People didn't believe me when i called this last season... Ray Lewis was the general of that defense. When the general is gone there's no one to lead the troops to victory. I'm not sure why people are freaking out over someone putting up 40pts against ravens D, the texans blew them out last year 42-13. That was the week after Ray tore his tricep, their first game without him. Notice the pattern?

I knew this already. He was their strong point.

Pretty safe to say there will be no repeat this year.... Baltimore was good last year... in no way to I give the credit to "JumpingJoe" Flacco. Manning was hella impressive but we'll see how he holds up. The Manning/Welker combo 'could' be the one to beat this year. I always felt NE wasn't using him as they should. Butter fingers on occasion but one heck of a receiver.

Oh and for the record, I'm not a Bronco's fan, I am however a Manning fan by default as a NY Giants fan.

just to let u guys know i could care less about the ravens it was a matter of time b4 they fell apart .. this was really put out there for my amazing picks in are fantasy league since i have peyton and his best wide out thomas .. not to say welker isnt gonna be a good fit but he opened up the door for thomas to be a beast this year and he will .. @ neal old or not he is a beast and he should run the legue this year he has a good o line a couple ok backs and ahell of wr group and te .. so im thinking this should be his best year to date if he keeps his performace up think of the 3 teams he see twice a year kc, sd, and oka he should 30 td's between those 6 games lol .. and no im no denver fan i just love football and pay attention to everyone

A matter of time before they fell apart? That's where I'll correct you. They were an old team. Lewis was there from the beginning and Ed Reed came a after they won the super bowl. Before you make statements like that you may want to do your research on football. Thomas is by far the best in the league, and more so it's Peyton that makes him look at as good as he does. He was a slightly above average receiver before Petyon got there and if you'd know football you would of knew that, or at least done a little digging. As far as Manning goes, he's always going to be a good QB, just like Brady & Brees simply due to the fact that they know football. Julius Thomas was also supposed to be a stand out but because of injuries he was non-existent and the only reason he got the starting TE job was because they Jacob Tamme didn't impress anybody. Julius Thomas was rated a freaky route runner when he first entered the NFL. Just like Jared Cook is the one of the fastest TE in the NFL with a 40 time of 4.49, though I think Vernon Davis holds the record currently. Denver also has a pretty easy schedule and you can't judge a player by one game. As Mike pointed out with Lewis going out how the Texans blew them out. Lewis was more then a player, he was the mental booster of their D because he constantly encouraged people. That would be equal to Denver losing Manning, as he's their strong point. Don't assume just because of the teams he's playing that he'll dominate, because anything could happen.

So please if you don't want somebody to come here and say something like I did then refrain from saying something lousy like it was only a matter of time before they fell apart.
