    My First Clutch

Ok guys, I'm on day 53 and the incubator has been running at a steady 89.5 - 90.5 degrees. How much longer should I wait before cutting? I read somewhere that a snake could drown in their egg? How does this happen? I'm still learning the process. Thanks!

Wow. I just noticed a baby's head going back into its egg after posting my thread. I'm excited. The other three eggs has not pipped. Should I cut or wait? Sorry, I'm still a newbie.

    Re: My First Clutch

We cut at day 50, but just a super small V just to make sure all the babies looked like they were alive. Then at day 55 we made bigger cuts to see what we had. If a baby is pipping though, I would think it'd be safe to cut the rest. Good luck!

There are three camps, cutters, cutters after the first pip, and non-cutters. You just have to figure out which one you want to be in I'm personally a cutter. You would be perfectly fine cutting the rest, or just letting them pip on their own.
