Bugs d:
So, I'm home with my family for labor day weekend and I brought Tali with me (it was awkwardly placed between her feeding days, so either she'd be feed very early, or she would be pretty hungry when I got home, so I just took her with me. She ate justttt fine here, yay for owning a pig). At my moms house, she has a tub set up in our living room and it's been fine re: heat and humidity. Today I've noticed sugar ants crawling around the tub and in the vicinity. I checked in the tub and didn't see any or see any thing that they would eat, but I have New Mom Syndrome and I'm paranoid. I don't want to spray the area with bug killer because that would hurt Tali as well. We had this nifty organic peppermint bug spray but I think it'd still negatively affect Tali. Is there something, anything I should do? Wipe the area with vinegar? Something?

I don't worry much about bugs, gnats, flies, ants, etc. None of them should bother the snake. Even mites, like wood mites or mammal mites aren't a problem because they can't use the snake. As far as the ants go you could set ant traps around the area your snake is in.
