Mites need help asap!!!
This is the 2nd time ive had mites in my bp tank, first i had fir bark, changed over to aspen cleaned the whole tank with a water and vinegar mix. Now i have aspen bedding with spagnum moss, which is where i fpund the mite eggs the 2nd time with some worm looking thing. Anyways i need help immediately! I looked ober the snake and he seemed fine, he hasnt been in his water dish but im going to soak him in the tub. Need urgent help! Thanks!

Buy a thing of nix shampoo and clean the encloser with that. One small bottle of nix and a gallon of water. Only thing that worked for me.

I never had a problem with mites but you should use something else than vinegar mix. You could try bleach (2 tsp for 1 gallon of hot water) and just wash everything. And for me, I baked substrate in the oven at 250F for 20-40mins which would kill any pest in the substrate. Usually pet stores treat their substrates but I take great precautions with my enclosures. And do what other guy said, get a dog flea shampoo and dilute in water and wash other stuff and idk if u can directly wash python but you should do some research on it.
