Are These Vents Sufficient?

It occurred to me that better airflow would not be a bad thing.

The cage I have has sliding glass doors on the front, and two identical vents (3 inch diameter) on the back:
inside-
outside-

I was thinking I could add a sort of shelf to the back of the cage to place mini fans on with one blowing air in through one vent and the other sucking air out the other vent.

I also looked around at incubator fans and even came across a helpful post detailing how to wire computer fans to AC plugs using charger cords, which I would likely mount directly over the vents, attached to the cage itself.

I really want to know do I need to do this? Or will having a more or less constant airflow make it that much harder to maintain humidity?

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Adding fans is going to kill your humidity. I experimented with this about a year ago. What I would recommend is adding more vents to your cage rather than using a forced air system.

It doest need to be fancy, just a 1/4" diameter drill bit. Put as many holes as you feel you need. If you really want to you can make a design out of them.

If you put some holes towards the top of one side, put some towards the bottom on the other side. This will use natural heat/air currents to your advantage to maximize airflow per hole.

Do you guys think the vents that were installed in the cage will be adequate?
How will I be able to tell if I need to drill some additional holes myself?

What does the entire cage look like? I'm thinking those vents are fine. Rack systems typically don't have much airflow.

36in longx24in widex18in high. It is was made by Jim who runs PVC Cages (pvccages.com).
There is a single white fluorescent bulb mounted inside the front and an 80 watt RHP as well.
I already mentioned the sliding glass doors in front. The two identical vents are mounted on the back wall
about 9in in from each side with roughly 14in separating them, about 14in from the bottom of the cage.

It's not that I think this man is manufacturing cages with inadequate ventilation, I just want my cage to be optimal
as opposed to standard.

I'm aiming more for perfection than for passable. With only one snake I feel that perfection is achievable.
