    BRB Hairball vomit questions

I've noticed a few times my Brazilian rainbow boa has been throwing up hairballs from the mice ive been feeding him, and ive dissected the vomit and im positive there is no meat content too it just a ball of hair, I havent seen the snake actually vomit the hairballs but it smells like vomit. The snake is about 5 months old and feeding on Hoppers at the moment. Ive read online that this issue is rather common in juvenile BRB's just curious if anyone has any insight on why this may be happening. My temp and humidity are perfect so thats not the issue.

You sure its vomit? Usually comes out as a hairball when they poo, so that may be what it is. How long do you usually have between feeding and seeing this ball of hair?

Hair is not digested. It's compacted and passed with feces. Usually. Sometimes you just get a wad of hair. If it's nothing but hair, I wouldn't worry over it.

Agreed. If you fed on Monday, it is most likely poo. A regurge is VERY messy and pretty unmistakable......
