Will BP eggs fit in this tub?
Nearing closer to eggs I am fine tuning my incubation set up. The incubator I made is perfect now. I decided to try something else with my egg boxes. I originally had 2 layer of egg crate (light diffuser) on top of some wet perlite but my fear has always been of the diffuser sinking and eggs getting wet.
I went and bought a 10 foot cut of 3/4 inch PVC and cut off 2 inch sections to hold up the egg crate on each corner. This works great but now I'm just worried about the eggs fitting in the remaining tub space when they come because I've never actually seen BP eggs in person I don't know how big to expect.
There is a 2 inch gap from the egg crate to the top of the lid.

Should I cut the PVC shorter and use less substrate. Will I have e enough room? Should I get taller tubs?

I am assuming those are 6qt Sterilite tubs, myself and a lot of others use those. I am able to fit 10 eggs in that style tub. You can just remove the PVC and place the egg crate directly on the medium.

That's the way I had it before. I just want to be sure that it can't sink in

You should be good, if your medium is very wet and you are worried about it you can always use two egg crates.

In sure my set up will work fine. I'm just trying to make sure I have enough clearance of I should make the PVC stands just a little shorter

I would put a little less substrate to allow more room for your eggs, you definitely do not want to have the eggs touching the top.

I'm going to cut more at 1.5 inches and 1 inch so that way I should be set

I'm assuming the eggs won't be bigger than this bottle.
That's perfect Brother.
