Brown scales on my albinos head

Hey guys, I just got a albino baby a month ago, he has eaten four times for me now. And he had a brown little reddish mark on his head so I thought he made have got bit? Then I keep looking at it and its brown now and it has gotten bigger , in the middle of his head. Is it gonna go away in his next shed? Or is this like scale rot or something?
Could it be contagious?
I'm concerned.

Might be scale rot the way it's sounding or it could be just from rubing. We are going to need a couple different pictures and angles of it to help you out.

What type of bedding is he on? Any dark substrates like Eco Earth?

Agreed, hard to tell but it sounds like damaged scales - Can be a lot of things and yes, bites/ infections, and scale rot are some causes but that doesn't mean you have to start worrying. Post some pics when you have a chance and we'll have a better idea. I had one of my ball pythons develop brown scales all along it's belly my first year of keeping reptiles. Kept him dry and he shed off the damage. He has been perfectly fine ever since.

Okay will do when I get home from work! I mean it's not too humidity or anything , he is on paper towels. And he likes paper towel rolls.

Looks like a rub. Odd spot for it but not the strangest thing I've seen

yeah its defiantly a rub,take a lil bit of pure natural honey.

Apply the natural honey to a q-tip then apply to the sore once a day. Ive done this many times with bearded dragons, geckos, balls any of my reptiles with sores what the natural honey does its help cure the sore faster.

I cant stress this enough it has to be pure natural honey ( no ingredients added to it)
