feeding while in shed
My biy is in shed and he does this everytime hes in shed. Ehile eyes even tho hid eyes are blue in feeding day he waits for me by the glass waiting ti be fed. He will lay there till i feed him. Then goes to his hid then i dont see him till after hes done shedding. Ive seen mixed feelings on feeding while in shed. My question is is feeding while in shed bad or uf hes hungrey just feed him.

No it's not bad. I can only remember once or twice that one of my snakes skipped a meal because they were in shed. Otherwise, everyone chows down as normal

feeding while in shed
I always offer on feeding day, regardless of whether they're in shed or not. I try to offer first to those I know are in shed, that way if it's refused I can just go to the next snake in line

LOL!
Depends on the snake I'd say. I feed every feeding day unless I know they're in shed. Many times I've fed and there is a shed in the tank the next day. I have a snake that seems to shed at will though, never see him in blue and will shed at random right before feed day, couple days after, a week later, etc. My cali king has shed while eating or eat 1 item, shed, then eat more, he's a pig though.

Yea, I always offer food regardless of shed or not. I just hope my normal and black pastel start getting a better appetite.

I just got back into BP's, so under a month. I got my BP, spider and pastel at the same time, though the spider is only about 30g bigger, and the pastel is about 130g bigger, they both have a way better appetite.
The normal and my bumblebee I got on the same day from the same person, the bumblebee is 700g and eats like a champ, even came out the tub on me because I fed my other snakes first(I was warned about this but forgot). The normal is under 100g though. I'm sure they'll pick up, but I just hate finicky eaters.
