    question about my ball

    Have had my ball about 12 yrs an these last two weeks he has been acting weird he lays on top of his hide instead of in it an hasnt been on heating pad tank temps an humidity are fine never seen him do this before anybody have any ideas.

    Is your heating pad being regulated by a thermostat? It sounds like your heating pad is too hot. How are you measuring temperatures? Do you have a probed thermometer?

    I also believe its your heat pad. Have you been using the same one for the last past 12 years?? If so it is most definitely time to replace that and pick up a new one. Come back and let us know what the temps are reading.

    Everything Serpent Merchant said we need so we can begin to figure this out for you. Also welcome to the site.
