Need some ID help
So, this is being sold as a Sunglow, but from the photos I've seen Sunglows have a lot more contrast. Opinions? Male, 2012

Terrible pic, but sunglows are albino hypo's so the saddles should be bow-tie shaped that looks like a regular albino to me.

That is not a sunglow. The saddles should be more bow-tie shaped, but they would also be darker and more distinct. That is a regular albino. At best, it is possible it is a sunglow, but it would be an extremely poor example of one.
On the other hand, it does look to be a fairly nice albino. But I would never buy a snake from someone who was misrepresenting it......

The thing is that this snake is from someone who is fairly well known in the industry up here in Canada. He supplies a lot of the reptiles stores.
He told me that his colours are not so vibrant because he is in shed. Can being in shed make this much of a difference?

Ricky, I've been following all of these threads about you wanting a boa...don't settle. If you want a lipstick sunglow, you'd better wait and find one that you love. Otherwise, everytime you see a lipstick sunglow, you will be kicking yourself.

From what I understand, the chances of me finding a true lipstick sunglow in Ontario are nearly zero. So I'm looking for a 'just' a Sunglow. But yeah, you're right, it needs to be a sunglow that I think it just awesome!
I'm going to see this snake in person today. I'm just curious, when it comes to boas, if the colours dull out that much during a shed? I dont think I'll buy him today regardless. Id need to see him when he's not in shed. hmmm........

Thanks everyone for your help. I've decided not to buy this snake. It may, or may not be a Sunglow, but as stated above I didn't fall in loove with it.
I have found another breeder who I trust, and have purchased many snakes from who produced Sunglows and Super Sunglows this year that are great quality. I've decided to buy from him, as I love his stuff. This male will be younger, but I'm ok with that. He's going to be a pet anyways, so having him as a hatchling will be even better
I'm probably going to actually get the snake in a few weeks at the Canadian Reptile Breeders Expo, but Il post photos tonight/tomorrow of him. I'm sure you'll also agree, he's much nicer! haha
This morning I lost a bit of my excitment - but now I'm all giddy again! I love this hobby!!!
