I got a Houdini

so for the third time this week, my b.p. slipped out of her tank....the first time, i just forgot to replace the stone on top to hold the screen in place. I dont know how she got out the second and third time. Every thing was exactly like it had been for the last two months. I always find her on my book cases...So i stick her back in, add something to the top of the cage to hold the screen down...and then she gets out again. *smh* so tonight I stacked books pn all four corners till they allowed no room between the shelf above the cage and the cage screen. If she gets out of that.... I'm changing her name to Houdini!!!!!! I never figured she was strong enough to lift the cage lid up with the lamp AND a part of a cement block on top of it! Guess she proved me wrong. As I type this, shes already sniffing out the top trying to find a way out.... all the temps and everything seem to be in the right ranges and i jest fed her a smaller than usual rat pup (her second meal in four days) yesterday so I Know shes not hungry. Guess I just have a adventurous little girl!

Quick fix, go to petco buy snake locks 4 of them for under 5 dollars. It will give you that security around all 4 corners you are looking for.

Better then relying on weights and your BP getting out and not being able to find it the fourth time it gets out.

i was planning on it tomarrow. I just wasnt expecting her to escape again... shes not that big.... but the books will have to work for tonight im not waking the kid up to go to petsmart lol
