    Just like anything else....

You need to be a responsible owner. I can't think why reptile owner would do this.

"Spiegel left the snake alone in his backyard Sunday, like he often does, so the snake can get some sun.“In between checking on him he managed to wander off,” Spiegel said."

“He’s probably completely correct, but I took all my cats in today,” Haldeman said.

On the bright side, the local wildlife will be a bit safer from non-native predators until Snakey is found.

I'd be having a cardiac if one of my Boas was missing.

I nearly went mad when one of my BPs went on a 3 week crawlabout in the walls.

Yeah, I've been trolling the comments section in the article. Not the brightest people on the internet. "Snakes should be banned blah blah blah" The sad paradox is that they think we are the ones who aren't bright because of the retard mentioned in the article.
Regardless, contrary to those who say to ignore them and whatnot, I do believe we should be making a fuss and let our voices be heard. Some wise people who are willing to open have to hear of us somewhere. There's always an opportunity to teach.

Shaking my head... That's like leaving a toddler to walk around a swimming pool unattended...
