    Sudden change in behavior

I'm using a 100 watt day bulb and heat mat in my 40 gallon for my carpet python. I moved him out of the 10 gallon a little over a month ago. For the first couple weeks he was always out in the branches, the ladder or even on top of his hide. He shed a week ago and has been in his hide on the cool side ever since. It was a perfect shed, so he seems to be healthy. Any ideas on why he is always hiding now?

He's probably hiding just to hide. Snake do a lot of just sitting lol Keep an eye on him and as long as he looks in good health, it wont be a problem.
