Info on some snakes.

I was wondering if anyone keeps or has kept any of the following:

Philodryas patagoniensis

Madagascarophis meridionalis

Orthriophis taeniurus callicyanous

Malpolon moilensis

Heterodon platirhinos

I know thats quite a list, but I am hoping to start looking for some of them, likely at Hamm in september. I do not know if its even possible to find them, I know the Orthriophis is available, I see them from time to time, but all are legal and require no permits where I am. What Im asking you fine bp.net members is for any first hand experience with the above species, as I have found finding some care information difficult. What I'd like to know, temps and humidity you keep them at, pics of your setup if you have any, any tips or secrets and temperment(though thats a non issue, just curious) and lastly if you have had any success breeding. Oh and photos of the animals of course!

Nope lol. What about heterodon nasicus? The husbandry information is much more readily available, and from what I've read, they're much easier to keep in captivity than eastern hognose.

Also, you may want to include the common names as well, you might get more hits if people don't have to look up what animal you're referring to. I know common names can be a beast, but at least they're easy to pronounce

Yeah not a fan of h. nasicus honestly the easterns are far better looking as for common names, idk them for at leadt one of those animals and for another its meaningless

I used to have a pair of eastern hognose. I actually got mine to eat unscented mice. I think they are little feistier than westerns. I had no trouble taking care of them or getting them to breed, but I got infertile eggs 3 times in a row. I sold them after that. I had no trouble selling them, BTW, with them eating mice and having the colors of a Jungle carpet python. I would like to give them another try now that I have more experience and feeder toads are more readily available in the US.
