    new rack help

hey perhaps someone can please help me out. im trying to build another rack for my breeding ball pythons. i already built one with studs and melamine. its great but its very heavy. for my next one id like to use pvc or azec board. can someone tell me where i can get either of those? they are not materials that seem to be readily available. and also i know that they can be quite costly as well, is there something similar i can use that is more economical and still light weight? any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

this is how i built the rack i have now. theres a 3/8 of an inch gap between the top of the tub and the bottom of each shelf. do you need the lids on your the tubs? i cant tell from the pic. and also cant the snakes climb through the holes in the shelves if there are no lids?
