Phil's first shed!

Well, his first shed with me anyway. I'm sure he shed once or twice with the breeder but I'm still excited about seeing him doing everything as he should. He finished shedding 2 days ago so I cleaned the tank today to see if he would let me hold him before feeding tomorrow. He was amazingly calm and sat in my hand perfectly. I'm so glad he has calmed down and he's beautiful after his shed. He does look like he seriously needs to poop (as you can tell in the photo) but I gave him a warm bath and am not going to worry yet, as it has only been 2 weeks and 2 meals since we got him. So for now, freshly shedded Phil would like to show off his beautiful mug.

Yup everything looks good, we need to get the humidity up a little more but we're working on making it perfect. It's just been a while since I had a baby so I didn't remember. He eats like a champ so I'm not going to worry until he eats probably 2 more times without pooping.

Handsome boy. You might change my mind on albinos I was only interested in black pastel albinos, but I've been thinking about getting an albino boy as eye-candy for when I lecture kiddos on snakes.

Thanks, honestly we got him as eye candy because I just can't stop looking at how beautiful he is!

You're right. Maybe next time I get him out I'll take some "real" (non cell phone) pics and feel worthy enough to put them in the BP pics forum I wanted to show off his shed but maybe not so much his swollen butt, lol.
