When can you breed a boa
Everything I've seen says four years and at least 10 pounds.

I've read four years old and six feet long is the minimum.

Since you indicated her current weight here, I should add that 2500 gm is not very large for a boa. I have a male 2010 Argentine that is about 4000 gm and is only just now ready to breed. I would have to say that a female at 2500 is no where near ready. Please be patient - you'll do your female more harm than good by rushing her.
Rule of thumb, again, is 3-4 yrs old and about 10 lbs and/or about as big around as a 20oz bottle of soda. And for the record, 10 lbs = about 4500 gm.

There is a good market in this area for affordable boas and I have a pet store that will take most of them. Just thinking about it. My balls are keeping me pretty busy right now but its a thought.

I think we posted at the same time, lol. See my thoughts above....
I would hope your buddy wouldn't push you into anything. Boas especially need to be up to size and in good condition because they give birth to live young. That can use up their body's resources faster.

Please give her another year or two before you even consider breeding her. And don't power feed her to try and make her grow either!!
