    Help me understand the numbering (1.0, 1.0, 0.1, etc)

    I'm new to Ball Pythons, but I've caught the fever! I've been seeing a lot of these decimals. For example I was viewing an add which read: 4.1 Pastel 100% Het Pieds and 1.1, 100% Het Pieds. Can someone break this down for me, what do these decimals and such mean. Could you please leave some examples? Thanks in advance from the rookie.

    Left of the decimal means male. Right of the decimal means female.

    1.0 = 1 male
    2.0 = 2 males

    0.1 = 1 female
    0.4 = 4 females

    1.6 = 1 male and 6 females

    0.0.1 = 1 of unknown gender

    -------

    4.1 Pastel 100% Het Pieds = 4 male and 1 female 100% het pieds
    1.1 100% Het Pieds = 1 male and 1 female 100% het pieds

    1.0 means male 0.1 means female so 4.1 pastel would be 4 male pastels and 1 female. If you see 0.0.1 it means there aren't sure what sex it is.

    I was confused about this at first, too, so don't worry!
