I'm getting nervous
Well I'm on day 54 and no pips yet I'm getting nervous. I removed the press and seal at about day 50 to let them get more air and I was seeing movement in the eggs when I candled but now they are getting so deflated its hard to candle them. I have been opening the tub every day to check them and I hope I didn't kill them it doesn't seem like there is enough room in some of the eggs. They still have veins and I can make out snakes but they don't seem to be moving. Should I go ahead and cut?

NO. Day 54 is not late. Most of mine pip naturally at 56-60. If they are growing and developing properly, there shouldn't be much room left in the eggs.

Pictures of the eggs might help. My first ever clutch just pipped himself last night at day 54 so I cut a small slit in the rest. The second one is only sticking it's nose out now. As long as the eggs are ok, I think they'll be fine. I think most people cut at day 55 anyway so if you want to cut them, I would think it should be safe to do so at this point.

X2 Give them time, relax, they will pip on their own just fine.

Re: I'm getting nervous
Thanks y'all Im just getting nervous, I was ok waiting until now. I read posts about the babies getting g tangled or drowning and it makes me worry. Should I not open the tub anymore until they pip. I open it every day when I get home just long enough to exchange air and sometimes candle, but should I just leave them until they come out?

Peeking in won't hurt them.

Leave them alone, no more candling! I know it's hard but check them once a day just enough to see if there are any pips. Depending on your temps they can hatch anywhere from ~50 - 65 + days. they'll be fine!

Re: I'm getting nervous
Thank you folks you made me feel better. This has been such a long journey I'm just scared something will go wrong. Im sure you all know just exactly how I feel its comforting to here you say it. Does anyone have a post I can refer too that details how to care for them after one pips? Do I just leave them alone in the tub until they all come out or should I clean them up and put them in a seperate tub with wet paper towel as they come out and then put them back in the incubator? And when should I put them in the hatchling rack?

I didn't want to cut mine, but they were getting dry and a bit tough, and I could see where one was trying to pip but not getting through, so I cut (on the advice and with the assistance of a much more experienced local keeper). I think it was taking the press 'n seal off combined with a continually running circulating fan that did it. Mine seem to be coming out at a one per day rate now (although the first one was out within 5 hours of cutting). I've been taking them out of the egg tub so they don't disturb the other eggs, rinsing them with the bottles of water from the incubator, then putting them back in the 'bator in a separate tub. They seem content in there.
I'm not advocating cutting, but you may want to gently check that all of the shells are still pliable so they're able to cut through when they're ready.
