9weeks 285g and still not eating
Almost 10 weeks.
She had shed recently, i hadnt known because i have blacked her out and left her alone.
So when i try to feed she would run away but now she is striking multiple times but running away.
She is hissing like crazy and puffing herself up so much shes lifting up her hides.
Like she is super pissed. I left her alone after that but i know its cool for a larger snake but is my 285g baby alright after 9 weeks?
No weight is lost so im not super worried but it does irritate me to no end
In my previous posts i have fixed my no-no's
Balls
1.0 Bumblebee Het Ghost
1.0 Power ball
0.1 Fire Ghost
0.1 Butter Pin
Milks
1.0 Eastern milk snake
0.1 Extreme Hypo Honduran
Hognose
0.1 Western hognose Albino
Leopard Gecko
1.0 Sunglow

How often are you attempting to feed her even though she is refusing?

What are you feeding her? Rats, mice? Live or f/t?

I now feed every 5 days around 02 am
I use rat fuzzies f/t
I tried live
I was scenting but was suggested to stop due to doing too much.

Re: 9weeks 285g and still not eating
is this what she ate before going off feed? you might want to try live prey to help kick the feeding response back in. didn't read your last thread, but a female (under 300 grams) usually don't go off feed this soon. need to double check everything and make sure her enclosure isn't stressing her by being too large. and some balls won't take a rodent at the size they should. sometimes you have to try something a little bit smaller.

x2. i've had animals that were on rats great randomly go off food like they do. wouldnt eat for a couple months, so i finally offered a small, live mouse. they love those little things. then it seemed like getting some food in em kinda reminds em how good food is and the next week they were right back on rats.
