    Relaxing in the great outdoors!

My landlords decided to install smoke detectors in our bedrooms throughout our apartment complex! So, I decided that it was time to see how they felt about exotic pets. I left Hissy's tank right where it has been since she got here, on the less traveled side of the living room.

I was at work when they came in but Nanci was here. Meme, our female landlord, came in to help out with the installation. She looked at the tank, looked at Nanci & gasped "WHAT IS THAT!!??"

Nanci said, it's a snake. Meme shrugged & said, "Eww. Alright, well, we are just gunna be a second with the fire alarm."

Sure, it kinda stinks that she was grossed out by the snake but hey, at least she didn't get riled up & say I had to get rid of her!! I am a lucky man!
Life is like a game of poker. You can play each hand to the best of your ability but you are still going to run into a bad beat from time to time. What matters is how you handle it. Do you go on tilt or can you maintain your composure & rebuild your stack?

Thats great!! You've got some good landlords. Mine always said as long as it didnt slither across the yard and get him, he was cool with it.

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.
