First snake.
I just got my first ball python last weekend, or Sunday to be exact. He is what I was told to be "a baby" but he's definitely longer then a foot. I love the little dude to death. The day I got him he ate 2 pinkies. So, I was just wondering since I was told only to feed him 1, when should I feed him next? Again this Sunday, or should I wait a few more days?

Pinkies are way too small unless you have an extremely underdeveloped snake or it can't handle something bigger. Can you get a weight on him? If not, feed something that is as big around as he is, or even a bit bigger.

Oh, and you can feed him today. Generally every 5-7 days is good.

How old is it? I got my girl when she was just a month old and she was closer to 2ft (20 inches or so) and she was eating hoppers, 1 every 4-5 days. Post a pic of your snake with its next meal pre-strike for a size comparison. I've been told to feed prey items near 1 to 1.5 times the width of the thickest part of the snake. Obviously a larger prey items means more time between feeding.
