Fedex Fairy Came Today, Plus a Little Something Extra.

Well first the new addition from Anthony at ACReptiles. She was the first one I bought after the accident but she was the last one to come in due to weather. Anyone who has heard me talk about Mystics knows that I love the Mystic gene so I had to pick up another Mystic girl. When I saw this girl, I knew I had to have her. Also, Anthony was a great guy to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again.

Next is a surprise that was waiting for me on my back porch this morning when I went to go to cut on the lights in the snake building. It was a gorgeous little pitt bull that was just as sweet as could be. She was laying there and just crawled up to me and layed her head on my shoe. She is covered in scars and looks like she was used as a chew toy... I think we will be keeping her here to make sure there is no chance of this happening to her again. How someone could do this to a dog is beyond me...

This is her with our other two dogs, Rocky, and Steel. Rocky is the brindle that is a stray that showed up about a year ago and just never left. Steel is the lazy blue pitt who is 7 years old (Been with me since he was about a year old) and a big teddy bear.

What if it's a skin issue, somehting that you could spread to your other dogs?

She has puncture wounds on her neck and rear that look like bite marks and a raw ring on the underside of her neck that looks like where a chain was. I have seen mange before and it doesn't look like that. I am pretty confident that it is not a skin issue.

Well, then it's a good thing it's now with a caring human!

Sounds like someone is a magnet for random needy dogs.

But how could you turn away that adorable face?

First of all, Awesome snake! I really like that combination and I can say this is the first I've seen a mystic fire!

Second, Thank you so much for taking in that pit. I love pits and it breaks my heart to see the bad things that their owners do to them. I can't wait to bring a pit into my family because they are great dogs, despite the negative rep they seem to have. Despite all her scarring, she seems really at east with your cat, dogs, and your family. She definitely found herself a good home!

Thanks everyone. I have always been one to want to help every animal I am able too and I have always had a soft spot for pits, so I knew as soon as I saw her that she would be staying.

Also, more pics of the Mystic Fire and the little Pit once they get settled in. Brylee has decided to name her Flower so I think we will be calling her Flow for short.
