Morph questions
I've been interested in orange dreams lately, and out of curiosity I ran a genetic wizard to see what my bumblebee would throw with a orange dream pastel girl.
I find it strange that there's no morph name or picture for an orange dream super pastel... seems like this would have happened by now. Am I missing something?
Also, why are there no ghost BEL? Is it impossible to? Or has just no one produced it? Or... would you even be able to tell with it being a white snake n all?
Oh, and I know I asked this before but I literally still see little to no difference with yellowbellies an normals, or a gene + yellow vs the gene by itself. I just stare at the WOBP yellow belly page with my head tilted. Like I see a LITTLE something, but not really. I've often heard it referred to as a "scrub brush" for other morphs.
Asking because I saw the "Inception" morph and it's so gorgeous. I couldn't find a version of that morph sans yellowbelly- has no one made a fire/mojave/orange dream?
Please and thanks!

WoBP's while great isn't complete, it's possible that a super pastel Orange dream has been produced but it hasn't been posted there. Equally possible is the possibility that a super pastel orange dream hasn't been produced yet. I haven't tracked the orange dream morph/combos close enough to be able to say which.
A BEL ghost should be possible, but again I can't say for sure if it's been done and not reported or if it has yet to be done. I would guess that a ghost BEL would look like an ordinary BEL. Keep in mind that a Ghost BEL would be pretty difficult to produce as it is a 4 gene animal (2 BEL genes = super form + 2 Ghost genes = visual recessive)
The yellowbelly can be a subtle morph, but they can do some crazy things in combos.
This page does a good job decribing the yellowbelly, and the 2nd and 4th pictures show great examples of the morph:

Here is a side by side comparison of a yellowbelly to a normal:

Orange dreams may not be new, but they aren't a morph that a bunch of people have. It's really only recently that they have started to produce a bunch of combos.

I don't think you're missing anything I think that either it just hasn't been produced yet or people aren't trying to hit them
Also, why are there no ghost BEL? Is it impossible to? Or has just no one produced it? Or... would you even be able to tell with it being a white snake n all?
All white snake be kind of hard to tell

Also you have to remember that a three gene snake is pretty hard to hit so the Fire Mojave OD is like a 1:16 chance throw YB in there and you're talking 1:32 some pretty steep odds.
Yellowbelly is one of those morphs you'll need to hold to really get what they are about. But there are a few things that they make that when bred with other things in the "YB complex" produce some wild things.

Ah-ha! I looked at the other ways to make BEL but forgot about super mojave. I'm assuming it's equally possible with the other BEL complex options- though I think it'd probably be even harder to see. Gorgeous animal certainly; a subtle but still clear difference. Love it. Was just a thought I had since I want to work with hypo / ghost, and the first ghost I'm getting will be a butter male which I'll pair with my pastave when she's an adult. I'd love to make BEL one day, and then it occurred to me that the BEL would be 100% het ghost. Ideas ideas ideas.
Ah I didn't realize orange dreams weren't super popular. I must've been thinking of orange ghost. And I know that three gene animals are hard to hit, I think I just put the big breeders up on a pedestal. Then again- plenty of small breeders create combos too. (:
Thanks for the tips on YB, I'm trying to refine my eye. I think I kind of get it now between the YB and the normal. Spotting the YB in a morph is probably just a learning process.
EDIT: The picture just noticed. Wow now it's so obvious. Very pretty

I've seen a hypo butter/lesser mojave before...visually it wasn't noticeably different from a non hypo bel. They've been around for awhile, I think the one I saw produced was a 2010 baby, possibly a 2009.

The Super Pastel Orange Dream probably has been produced and just hasn't been added to the list. There is a possibility that it hasn't just because the ODs do such great things with other combos .
As far as Hypo BELs go it is pretty easy to produce, Hypo something from the BEL complex x a Hypo something from the BEL complex. Then you are guaranteed that all offspring will be visual Hypo so any BEL produced will also be Hypo.
We are hoping to hit on a Hypo Pastave this year to pair with our Butter OG next year and have a shot at Hypo Butter/Mojave BELs possible Pastel.
