Greg carries quite a few different thermostats. Fairly quick to respond and he's in Calgary as well.

Doin ships directly to Canada and as it is made in the USA duty free just taxes. (www.spiderrobotics.com) they offer the highest level of safety. Ecozone also ships to Canada... expensive units but having one lends some peace of mind. Given how much others have spend on just an alert system it becomes cheap very quickly. Something to think about. They are the top two.

Greg West is a stand up guy I 100% love dealing with him. more than once he has talking himself out of a sale because he thought something else would be better for me that he didn't carry. I really appreciate a sale person who cares about the customer rather than the sale.

VEs are too expensive in Canada for what you get. A herpstat intro+ came in under the base (to my niece's doorstep) VE price even if you hand pick it up.

hydrofarms are poor at best and given the additional price in Canada 100% not worth it. For a bit more you can have an intro+ why have a hydrofarm? The accuracy of them is pathetic, 4ºF up or down? add the 3ºF of hysteresis and it gives a 11ºF range.

Re: Where can I buy a thermostat

If you only got one snake you can find a cheaper alternative. Not everyone has the cash to run out and buy a herpstat, especially if you only keep one snake.

I use a hydrofarm and it works just fine. Hot spot temp stays where I want it and I have two thermometers and a IR gun to check it.
