As a fellow herper, two things that have always bothered or even disgusted me, were incorrect facts and propaganda. When it comes to that, this guy really pulls it off. He always portrays short tailed, reticulated, and even ball pythons as among the many dangerous pythons in the everglades. I've always hated his videos but just ignored it, until I saw one of his videos talking about monitors in the everglades, in which his video portrays a black throated monitor- not a Nile- causing "ecological destruction." In one scene, it actually shows the monitor eating a newborn ball python. Now, remember, these animals can only be CAPTIVE BRED, since black throated monitors, short tailed pythons, and ball pythons are not prevalent in the everglades. Would you be comfortable knowing if someone was buying your reptiles, only to have them destroy one another while being filmed and portrayed as anti-herpetoculture propaganda?
Anyway, I'm sure you guys have encountered one of his popular video uploads on YouTube:

And the video that really set me off:

I don't have plans to put an utter stop to his animal extremist agenda, but what I would like to do is make it well known, especially among my fellow herpers, and that by voting down his videos as well as presenting the proper facts, we would make him look bad. After all, it is undoing what most of us are striving to do, which is to properly educate people on these animals and reduce people's fear of them. This guy's videos bring that in an ***-backwards direction.
