Can you ID these short tailed python hatchlings?

These aren't mine. From what I know, they are '11s. I know they are short tailed pythons of some sort (hence posting here) but not sure what species.

Re: Can you ID these short tailed python hatchlings?

I'm viewing these from my phone, so the pics are very small, but I THINK those look to be Python Breitensteini aka Borneo Short-Tail pythons.

I'll have to look again from my home computer.

Re: Can you ID these short tailed python hatchlings?

They are Borneo Short-tail Python (Python breitensteini) x Blood python (Python brongersmai) hybrids.
I have seen those pictures before and the youtube videos to go with them.

That's what I thought but I don't want to jump on anyone, saying "hybrid" without knowing for sure. Glad you found the original post, Rob!

I have seen a few of the hybrid projects and tried to stay up on it all to see what they look like and whatnot so I don't ever mistakenly buy one.

Disconcerting to see more and more of these popping up. So difficult to discern. /:
