Exclamation Where the best to get an albino ball python?

I am looking on purchasing an albino ball python. I am seeing them being sold on reptmart.com for 600. Is repmart a good site to buy them off of, is that too much. Whats a site with good albino ball pythons for less than that? Are they any harder to take care of?

I would say $600 is a lot for baby albinos, even for a female. I can see that price for a female with some size.

I would check on Kingsnake Classifieds: http://market.kingsnake.com/index.php?cat=32 and Fauna Classifieds: http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...play.php?f=499 and see if you find an albino that you like. My tip is to always check the seller's reputation on Fauna's Board of Inquiry: http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...splay.php?f=13 to make sure they are a reliable seller before purchasing.

Albinos aren't any harder or easier to care for than any other BP morph.

Reptmart/Reptile Industries is a good company. It is owned by the Bell's (originators of the Desert Ghost). With that said, $600 is pricy for a straight Albino unless it is well over $500g.

Also, if you want a nice Albino for a good price, look up Mike Bell. He selling some SMOKING Albino Black Pastel males for $450 each right now.

I was going to suggest Mike Bell as well. That's where she came from. He has gorgeous Albinos. And yes, $600 seems alot. I wanna say I paid $400 for her. I'd have to double check.

I can`t comment on US sources for reasonably priced quality albino`s but, as for care......
A $20,000 BP has the exact same care requirements as a $35 `wild-type".
So, no an albino is no harder to care for. Well, it might get cranky if you shine bright lights into those red eyes a lot.
