    Shy eating... Paper bag

My baby ball python doesn't like to eat in front of me it seems lol. I've tried the different cage for feeding and also feeding in his hide. When I do it in his hide he seems very interested in the mouse but never eat. So all 3 times I've fed him as ended up feeding him in a brown paper bag. Anything else I can try? Or is the natural?

Had to do that with a cali king. Ex gf had a bp that would eat anywhere though, simply amazing. When I felt lazy, I put it in a shoe box or let it eat in the tank. If i wanted to be entertained I'd let it eat on the coffee table while watching tv.

Yeah... I just wish he would eat in front of me. He just seems very shy about eating in front of me. In his tank or out. But he eats really well in the paper bag.... I hope he grows out of that.

I'm lucky with my spider. He'll eat anything put in front of him almost right away. It doesn't matter who's around and he'll eat right out in the open. Other then that though, it takes some time. My normal wouldn't eat in front of me for over a month, then she got used to me. Even then though, she was always very aggressive before and after feeding time, which is very unlike my spider. I think some are just more shy then others.
