What do you look for in a killer bee?
I'm sure opinion will vary here, but in terms of what I like vs. what I may be able to afford, the perfect balance seems to be the killer bee. They are just amazing-looking snakes to me (second only to the fire bee which is out of the question at $1200+). I love the super pastel, and the bumblebee pattern pretty much goes without saying. I'll want to throw one of those to my pastel female, and also look to pick up a female fire at some point down the road.
I've seen several killer bees on Kingsnake that are just gorgeous, but I want to make sure I'm getting a nice yellow pastel gene in the mix since my current pastel is slightly sub-par. So if you were in the market for a killer bee, what features would pop out to you as a must-have?

Bright white bald head, good contrasts between the black and yellow pigments, clean patterning with little freckling.

Dumb question I suppose. :\
Just not much experience picking out the "good" ones. I guess I'll just go with what I find attractive.
What do you think of this guy I found on KS?

Only one disagreement here - anything super pastel will not have any true blacks.
OP - You want the most faded snake you can find, and patterning is all to taste. I like the more reduced spider patterns, but the bee you posted has a good look to it, too.

Not a fan of it. I prefer no spots at all. Bright white/yellow glow to it

If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.
