    How do you shop breeders?

Looking to find a good breeder, just don't know where to start. Prefer someone who likes to make package deals. :p

I've looked at the big names, and unfortunately I'm not financially capable of paying big name prices.

I may contact Mike here in Oklahoma to save on shipping though.

Kodie! Shop the snake not the breeder.
If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

Tons of good breeders out there. And they all like to make package deals. The majority of breeders on kingsnake or fauna are a safe bet.

The Board of Inquiry (BOI) on faunaclassifieds.com can sometimes be useful in checking out a breeders reputation...if you can navigate your way through the nonsense...

I prefer finding the snake that represents exactly what I'm looking for in a particular morph, then checking out the breeder. The way I see it, the breeder is pretty insignificant in picking up a new snake. It does not take a rocket surgeon to throw two snakes together and get babies. As long as they offer some kind of health guarantee, and you've asked a few basic questions, you should be good to go.

I have a hot pastel enchi from Don Meeker in Oklahoma. He posts on KS. Very easy to work with, also.

I suppose that is true. I can't ever figure out ks to save my life. I guess I'll just play around with the search on Fauna and see what comes up.
