Snakes dont enjoy buddies so your aware they arent gonna play together an youll want them in seperate houses. With out the experience under you're belt houseing together wouldn't be good. Only people I know that can correctly do it have been keeping snakes longer than ive been alive. But good luck getting another snake, jus giving my 2cents on it.

Oh no I agree I wouldn't house them together I have separate cages I was just saying in general they can be "buddies" since ill have two of them now if ya kno what I mean. my normal shed all in one piece and I have this schedule down to take care of him and the pastel would be a great addition for me to move up in the collection I think. I already have the same setup that I have for my normal for the pastel my friend had extra cage and I had an extra heat pad and the digital thermometer I can swap back and forth to check if need be but I plan on getting another one. I also have been lookin at racks and thermostats online to get also they take up less room and will be more efficient. I greatly appreciate your information, the more info the better ive already seen plenty of people say u shouldn't keep them together I mean not even breeders would unless they just hatched and r still in the incubator :/I never planned on doing it. help me out on this contest guys it would be appreciated! I do have all the way until the 25th tho. seems like a long time for a contest :/ thank for the help!

Get the thermostat ASAP for the snake you already have. Unregulated heat pads can kill them- thermometers only let you know after it already may be too late. There's another thread on here where a poor snake got hurt by a flexiwatt malfunction and it's showing signs of neurological damage.

There are thermostats you can get with more than one port for multiple tank/rack options- even if you don't win a pastel you can pick up one of them so you'll be covered for any new additions in the future.

K sounds good but ya each cage should have a thermostat to keep the uth from getting to hot, hydrofarm is inexpensive and works good. Nothing worse than getting a burn. Racks are good I like mine alot and leaves room for you to expand more! Good luck again getting new snakes is always fun.
