Well I sat down today to hammer out some more of that list I'm compiling of all the species and some details on each etc. Anyways here is a cool website!

it seems as if the list you are compiling has already been compiled.

haha yeah - I want to add some details though i.e. common name, latin name, origin, adult size, difficulty/temperment, feeding, activity, temp/humidity, enclosure size
for each one so people can browse through when they are trying to decide on snakes to add to their collection.

yup. That's why it's taking so *darn* long. I mean I'm sure there will be a few that I can't get info on so I'll have to live with some not having much or any info but everything I can find I plan on including... The most important one to me is the Biodae but eventually I'd like to do Colubridae as well.

Yeah the complete list will be posted here at Bp.net it ought to bring more than a few unique hits I imagine though I will probably be yelled at a few times for inaccuracies I plan on checking and revising as is necessary. Also eventually I would like to set it up so that it is searchable with pictures and everything.

Well it's gonna be a while hahaha.. I think in about two weeks I'm gonna post what I have so at least that's up here and then just add to it and make posts that are like additions you know? That way at least there is something for now.

Birds do it, Bees do it...
Jonah...will you be including information about how common-in-the-pet-trade and/or easy-to-obtain each snake is? That'd be very helpful information in that sort of list. It'd be disheartening to fall in love with some rare Australian python, then find out later that they can't be had as pets.
