Well, got my ball when he was 100 grams, he just hit 400 grams and decided not to eat anymore 
oh and he eats live ugh

I have a female het pied that stopped eating at 500g. It has been about 3 months and she ate a f/t mouse I left in her cage last week, finally! I feel your worries, just keep an eye on his weight and he should be okay
