Rat breeding questions and some questionable Rex pics....

So... been building my colony for almost two months now. Local breeder was selling out and I got 15 more female breeders, all their babies (75+) and a few males. I now have a total of 26 female breeders and about 6 males I rotate.

On my last rotation I put a male in with 2 females in two different tubs. These males are the only ones that get along with each other when not paired. Ironically these two males SOAKED the tubs with urine and drained the watering system till all the bedding was soaked. This was on 6/2/13. I cleaned the tubs today... 6/6/13 and they have not done anything odd. Has this happened to anyone? The valves were not stuck at all. They seal and flow just fine. Usually I go through 2 gallons of water a week. They used 2 gallons in just a few days??

Anyways- I got some cool rats on my buyout. Looks like some Rex's, Dumbo's and hairless rats. One breeder male is hairless. One breeder male and his mate produce hairless, Rex and Dumbos in the same littler although neither of them look odd- both just normal looking rats. male is black and white and the female is White.

Here is a shot of what I think are a few Rex's.... nice curly whiskers and kinda funky wavy hair.

I'm not an expert but from what I've been told here the curly whiskers are a sign of Rex.
