    Pelicans in Iowa!

It was so crazy to see these guys here in Iowa. I've seen a couple across the years, but this year they were all over playing in our flood waters!

This is how far away they were, I'm loving my camera! Also, this is usually a field.

My favorite picture out of the bunch!

Wow, captivating! I love the water in the pictures and how it makes everything in motion.

Now all we need is Morgan Freeman narrating their natural history....the movie title will be, "Gulp of the Pelicans"

Great pics!! Did you take these at Saylorville? Saw a bunch of pelicans there in late April, but my cell-phone pics don't hold a candle to yours.

It was really awesome, and the water was so loud! Lol, I love it, his voice would be perfect!

Thank you! I'm not sure where Saylorville is, but these were taken right outside of Amana, IA. I live about 15 mins from there. I do love my camera, and trust me, most of the talent is in the camera, lol.

Ah, gotcha. Saylorville is just north of Des Moines. Cool to see that they get over to Amana, too. Love that area!
