    I should be getting my bp relitivly soon. I have still to buy;
    Two hides, a water bowl, and a thermomiter/hygrometer.
    Than I plan to buy from alex Hue. I am so close to getting him! And by the way I'm going ot name him Ace.

    You should not be disappointed with Alex; I bought m,y little Bella from him, and she's great.
    I like the name; a Kiss reference?

    I'm not sure. I would probably give him a phone call if you are going to physically pick the snake up from his location. However, correct me if I'm wrong, aren't you under 18? There is a disclaimer saying that he won't sell to minors without parental approval first. You should definitly just call him.

    Maybe he knew your age from the following quote of yours on another post....

    "QUOTE"

    Today I convinced my mom to take me to the local petshop. I picked up a block of coconut chips/fiber, its suposed to hold humidity well. Will this work for a bp?

    Substrate for a BCI

    Haha its ok. I'm really impressed that you are so young, yet so concerned about learning how to properly care for your pet BEFORE you even obtain it. Most young people just buy on the spot with no knowledge behind them. I'm glad we've been able to help you!

    hey first time herp! I'm super excited for you and thankful to you for doing your research so early!! I'm sure your snake will live a long happy life. My mom wasn't very happy about my BP but tonight she actually asked me if it ate last night! I was very happy... I think she's starting to like him even if she won't admit it. just give it time and if you don't force it.. they'll come around. good luck getting your set-up together. Be sure to have the whole thing up and running at least two days before you get your snake so you can be sure the temps and humidity are pretty stable ... this will prevent stress and increase your odds of a successful feeding a week or two after recieving your new buddy!

    EDIT I moved back home for the summer.. this is why my mom was displeased with the snake - don't surprise your parents with pets whether you live at home or not.. i called her the day I decided to get him just a friendly tip.
