What am I?
Bad picture but I was wondering if anyone can identify this snake.
Found in Texas.

Looks Like Black Necked Garter Snake... but Kill me if i know id that is Western or Eastern Sub specie
edit after Consulting With My Trusted book: Snake of United States and Canada.... look like we definitely have Eastern Black-necked Garter Snake (Thamnophis cyrtopsis ocellatus) here

That is a Texas Garter Snake.
AKA Thamnophis sirtalis annectens.
A sub-species of the Common Garter Snake.
Edit: Okay I bow to experience then, it could be ocellatus. The Texas Garters can be variable in appearance a bit so didn't dig too deeply.

Thanks my mom was freaking out if it was venomous. I knew it wasnt. I just didnt know exactly what it was.

This is definitely Eastern Black-necked Garter Snake (Thamnophis cyrtopsis ocellatus)

Most definitely an Eastern black-necked. Texas garters have nowhere near the patterning on this little one.
