Suggestions/Opinions?
Hiya everybody,
There's a reptile show I'm going to this Saturday. It's my intention to go and enjoy meeting people as well as looking at reptiles. I can't help but to think about what I should keep my eyes open for.
Currently, I'm raising some females (they will be ready to breed next year, hopefully), black pastel, mojave, lemonblast, pewter, lesser, fire, and a pastel.
I know what male ball pythons I want to get but my females aren't ready so I'll wait on those. I am breeding my male lesser to a spider and a normal and my male pewter to the other spider and the other normal. I got some locks but no good news yet. I'm a patient guy so I'm not worried.
I was wondering if I am missing any "important" base morphs? I also have a female BRB and I do have a male I'm going to breed her with. I'm also raising two woma pythons (females) and they're nowhere close to breeding size.
The only thing I can think of, other than missing an important base morph, is a BHP but I can't afford one. Oh yeah, maybe a pure hogg island boa?
Ideas? Suggestions?

Re: Suggestions/Opinions?
Jigsaw or Mystic Pastel males would make some great combos. Any two gene co-doms would be great.

I would really love to get into recessive morphs but I think I should "wait" on those. Here's why. If I get any recessive morphs, it will take a long time for me to see a return on my investment. Yes, this is a hobby that I really enjoy doing and yes, I see myself keeping some of these ball pythons for myself BUT I do feel that I have to sell some of the hatching in order to keep up with my collection.
I do not intend to become a "big" breeder, ever, but going into recessive project will take too long. Once I get my small business going, I will get into recessive genes. At least that is my strategy.
It is my goal to get two genes, or maybe three genes males when more of my females are ready to breed. I just want to build a good collection before I purchase more males.
Thanks for your inputs though!
