This is not a normal pastel?!

    Hey guys,

I am new to this forum, but i got a question...

A friend of mine got a snake in Sweden and it was said to be a pastel ball....

But it is not a normal pastel.. And no one i talk to can tell me for sure what this snake is.. Would really like to hear what you guys got to say about it... There is 3 images below.

    Thanks in advance!!

    Regards
    Danneler

    I don't know - but I like it!

    Looks a bit desert-ish maybe?

Hhmm...I don't think it's "just" a pastel either. Totally hot!!

    Does it have green eyes?

With the way the head stripe looks, I'm with Derek on the Desert thought. I don't see any blushing that would lead me to believe it carries the pastel gene at all. In case you or your friend aren't aware, desert females have yet to produce a viable clutch, and often become egg bound and die during laying.

Better overhead, side, and belly pictures will help us with the guessing, but I'd be very hesitant to breed her from what I see in the ones you've posted.

i will try and provide the pic's later on today... a bit strange all this..

The seller, is a store from the city i am from and i know that they are selling desert juveniles at the moment.. can it be such a stupid thing that the seller gave a desert instead of a pastel?
I dont know how it is even possible to make such a mistake..

100% Desert IMO. It may be a low quality Desert Pastel too.
