other people point of view on this??

Ok I wont go into many details ( won't give the guy's name out so don't ask)
But I want everyone point of view and thoughts on this.

I know a guy who gotten into ball pythons to try and make money ( I told him it not going to happen as easy as he thinks) But he spent about 10k in getting snakes from various breeders and such ( all adult breeding size ball pythons) Well he takes them to a friend of both of ours when ever her got issues (this guy does not have a clue or is willing to listen to those with more xp with snakes.)
Anyhow Here an example of the kinds of things he does and such.
He will haggle over the price for a snake ( with everyone ) ( example: a pastel female 3k in weight worth say 500. HE will call the guy and say I will give you 200 max take it or leave it. He then wants to sell it or trade it off if not eating within 2 weeks. Most of us have told him the snakes needs time to settle down and adjust to the new home and such ( not to be surprise if it won't eat for a month or so ) The bad part is that snake he had for less than a month he paid 200 for is all of a sudden worth the 500 and he wont go any lower.

The second problem we are having with him is the QT ( explained it mutli times to him) that you can't just get snakes and have them all in the same room and expect there not to be a RI, start eating right away, and breed from the get go) So we have not been surprised when he calling about Possible RI and such ( this guy can't tell what lock is) But in the last 2 weeks I think the guy has tossed 4 snakes in his freezer whining they got the worst RI's he ever seen. I have offered to take the so called sick snakes for him and get treated and bring them back to health.( at my own limited expanse) But he refuses saying it a bad business move ( and tossing it into the freezer is a better one ) I mean come on I offering to help you and save the snake's life and you most likely will get it back alive and usable within 120 days if it live. ( as of right now I know of a pinstripe het albino, het albino , and bumble bee that he tossed in freezer, and that he lost an albino as well ( died before he tossed it in I guess)
I heard of others from a friend but I don't know the morphs.

I am not sure on how to deal with this guy outside of washing my hands of him and telling him bluntly not to bother us again, Of to was not for the snakes I would of done this 3 months ago ( I known him for like 4-5 months roughly ) We all are tired of having to deal with this guy. ( good breeder friend, 4thesnakelady and myself.) I know there possible some other breeders at the Hamburg and Harve de Grace shows that are getting bad vibes off this guy.
SO I like to here everyone point of view on this and such.

    Make a BOI thread maybe...?

Sounds sketchy. Please PM me the name (if you don't wanna say the name publicly) so i can avoid him. I wont share the name.

BOI. Wash your hands of this guy, he's bad news. As much as I understand you wanting to save the snakes, handing them back to him is far more cruel.

I agree with the others. Wash your hands of him. If you continue to try to help him, eventually, his bad vibes will start rubbing off on you.

And, yes, I would absolutely go to the BOI. Only thing is, you will have to be prepared to give his name there. But with business ethics like his (or lack of them), I highly advise doing so - on the BOI, not here. You'll have to get over your reservations of giving out his name. He is playing with fire and he's going to burn himself. You don't want him to burn you in the process. Post a thread on the BOI.

Doesn't sound like someone I'd want to be associated with at all. He's like the Michael Vick of BP breeding.

Re: other people point of view on this??

Sounds like a very unprofessional way to enter the breeding world. Just buying your way in half-cocked sounds pretty stupid to me. I would sever all bonds with this guy and warn anyone you know from doing business with him. I hope to someday, probably 4 years from now to maybe have a table at a reptile show. And I will exude pride and professionalism in my wares knowing they came from the best of beginnings.

Yep walk away. People like this don't need to be in the hobby.
First time pet owners that might pick up a snake from him at a show, might not remember his name. They will remember the show when their snake sick or dies.

Rob I hope you are kidding.
