What Size Boaphile Cage To Get For A Male Ball Python?

So I'm setting up my enclosure for my Ball Python. I've tried using a Sterilite Tub but I couldn't get my temperatures high enough. I have a colder house, room temperature being around 65 F. So I contacted Boaphile and asked them by using those style of caging could I get my temperatures high enough? I told him I was planning on getting the 221D (30"x24"x11.5"), do you guys think that will be big enough for a full grown Male Ball Python? I'm buying him around 7 months old and I don't want to buy another tub so what do ya think? Any ways when I called and told him I want the 221D he said you'll need a 1611 Complete Radiant Heat Panel as well as there X1.5 Heat Pad. I asked him "aren't the X1.5 for bigger cages and the one I'm getting recommends the X1"? and he said "yes, but since your room being so cold, all need additional heat". So my main question do you think all be able to get my temperature hot enough according to his requirements?
    Thanks

I have similar temps in my house during the winter and I went with PVC to resolve temp and humidity issues. I went with Animal Plastics because the cages are thicker and I translated that to insulation ability. I went with only an RHP and no UTH and have no issues, so I think you are fine with either UTH, but I'm not familiar with that RHP. Give Pro Products a call and they will talk your ear off about RHPs. Finally, I think the cage size you are looking at is good.
