    Worth it or not?

One year, one foot long, male pastel ball python for $75. No other info was given as it was an ad on craigslist.

It would help if you had a pic but for a male pastel that isnt too bad.

I wouldn't do it just because you never have any idea what kind of health issues you might end up with. You can get low-quality male pastel hatchlings for $75. Ask for pics in natural light on a white background (black makes yellow look better) and get an opinion on quality.

    Re: Worth it or not?

The price is good, but a one year old ball python should easily be approaching 2 feet and several hundred grams. If it is one foot long it would suggest that it has been malnourished. Get some more information on the snake.

1 year old and 1foot long...? That doesn't make sense. It *should* be bigger i think.

Definitely get up to date pictures if you're thinking about it. But I'd be careful. They may have been guessing at the length but one foot is really small for a year old BP. It might have feeding issues or it might not have been cared for properly.

Yeah eesh. My six month old BP is about two feet. And if you're wanting the male for a stud I'd look from a breeder with nice pastels. Better to spend more and get nice bright pastels.
