Nice! I would try to get a couple more shelves to fill in the lower part.

Lol, that's an awesome set up. I'm jealous since I wanted that same cooler but didn't have the room for it. As jinx mentioned I would get some more shelves and few more jugs too. Hows your temps and air flow in that monster?

I would add more shelves down low, have at least 2 fans if not 4(1 per corner) and lots of water bottles.

I'd like to see this one converted like ours with a false wall in the back, it would work a ton better.
The problem with heat tape in these incs is the tub end that is closest to the heat tape will be warmer than the other end of the tub, which is why the false wall covering the heat tape works amazing.

    Nice start!

Ooo that's awesome! I'm not sure where the best place to put the shelves would be. You definitely need at least a couple fans in that thing though! And I assume you are going to fill the bottom with water jugs/bottles?

    Re: my new incubator

I have what looks to be the same cooler. that thing is huge. I did get it to make an incubator out of it. but before I did. I found a large single glass door coke cooler for 25 dollars that was in good shape. so my big cooler is in the garage and I put my rodent food in it. that way any field mice that's in my garage can't get to it. that thing holds like 25 40# bags. good luck with it don

    Re: my new incubator

Thank y'all very much I am looking for more shelves and yes I'm getting more jugs for it. I'm using the fan that is originally in it I was giving it a few days to get the temps right. I have the probe on the middle rack and it's reading at 87 degrees. I only paid a hundred bucks for it. I can't wait to get it filled up

That's going to be a pretty sweet incubator! It would probably be a good idea to add more fans though. If you don't, I think you are going to have a hard time keeping temps even on all the levels (some tubs will be too hot or too cold. I have a few incubators that need more air circulation and I'm thinking about using one of these:
AC Infinity AI-CFS120BA Single 120 Quiet Cabinet Fan Kit, for Home Theater AV Amplifier Media Cooling, Black

I like that it has the screen on it. I'm paranoid about a hatchling getting loose in there and ending up in the fan. Plus, it says you can wire up to four together.

Since your incubator is so big (you'll want multiple fans) you might want the bigger one:
AC Infinity AI-CFD120BA Dual 120 Quiet Cabinet Fan Kit, for Home Theater AV Amplifier Media Cooling, Black
