The Live to F/T switch!
Hey folks,
I'm looking into buying a few adult ball pythons, but all of them are eating live rats, as the person who owns them currently breeds rats for feeding purposes so obviously it's pretty easy to toss in a live rat!
I was reading a little bit about switching them from live to frozen, because really that's my biggest hold back on buying these animals; I'm afraid it's going to be a HUGE ordeal!
Has anyone had a lot of personal experience with this or have a preferred method? I know some seem to take one that's just been thawed, some take scented, some will follow a live with a frozen, I've read about dipping them in chicken broth...any of these more likely to work? Just a lot for me to consider right now and wanted some opinions!
Thanks!
Kourtney

The Live to F/T switch!
Honestly, it depends on the snake.
I have snakes that absolutely refuse f/t, no matter how I offer it. Then I have some that will switch between live and f/t.
I'd ask the seller if he'd try offering f/t and seeing what happens.
