The tubs have to be really close to the shelf. Like 1/4 inch or less. The shelf does not allow for air circulation which will cause amonia to build up. Which is a no-no. How are you going to attach the water bowls? It's a smart way to addapt old funiture, but I just don't think it'll work for mice.
If the gap between the tub and shelf is really tight, like 1/8 or less, then you could keep more snakes in those tubs! Heat tape and thermostat, and you're set!

You may want to just build a mouse rack. That way you can use bigger tubs it'd be more user-friendly. The supplies aren't really expensive, especially if you only do a few tubs. You'd need at least 3 tubs for a single colony of mice.

Well yes I always wAnted to make one an all but I'm having a little trouble on the screen pieces that hook up to the side poles an all. I will do a rack then if its better I just need a small colony for my ball cause I think he will be a live feed only that's what they feed all there snakes in. The pet store but ill ask if I can see him eat a f/t this frieday an that if not ill just start buying at first one mice every two weeks that how long they feed it an till next feed is every two weeks do you think it should be every week I feed it or every two weeks?

Typically people recommend feeding 10-15% of the snake's body weight ~5 days for young snakes, and ~7 for adults, except around when the snakes shed (though mine has eaten in shed before, so I always offer). Sometimes adults go off feed for a couple of weeks, and that's normal. It depends on the individual.
I would read the care sheets here, rather than rely on the pet store for advice. This site is great because you're getting info from the biggest names in the industry. With pet store employees their experience is always a gamble.
There's also a lot of good advice here about how to switch a snake from live to F/T. Some keepers choose to feed live anyway, and some snakes can be especially picky with what and how they eat, but feeding F/T is doable if that's what you'd prefer.

Every 5 days should work for that little guy.
