Yeah! MY FIRST OVY!

Well I know Ive been sickening posting about my girls, I think I have my first ovy. My pastel girl that I bred to my pastel has a lump its not as big as I thought it would be, but I'm pretty sure. I hung her verticaly just for a few seconds and she has a beer belly. She hasn't eaten since Feb. 11th. I'll post pics tonight.

I'm not sure that I have caught an Ovy yet. Some days I look in and think maybe, then I second guess myself.

I was never 100% sure on my girl that already laid.

I know, I've tried to look them into ovy many times. But this time she is definitely swollen in the right spot, and I can feel its very firm in that area. And she's staying with her lower half staying on the heat its hard to tell in this cell phone pic but its there. Now what 28 +- till eggs?

Lookin at prelay shed next then around 30 days to eggs from there. It varies. I had a girl ovy and then prelay shed 16 days later and then drop on day 29. The other girl went 37 days after her prelay shed. I heard someone say 61 days after prelay shed and another went 52 days.

So it just keeps getting to ya huh. Lol If people who don't breed only new how much you go thru to get these babies, they would understand their value more

I'm so stoked come on super pastels! So what do I do wait till she sheds and that should be per lay shed.

Yeah, that looks much better can't really see her tail but it looks like she has some tail suck going on. Didn't want to discourage you on your first post but it did not really look like an ovy. Her next shed should be prelay then 30 days or so after prelay for eggs.
