    emperor scorpion

I have rescued a emperor, she (I think she) has a badly deformed claw. She is unable to use it. I have been told this is from that last (neglected) moult. The question, I have had the suggestion to remove the claw. The idea being the next moult the slaw will reform correctly. I am not an expert nor have much past a reading a few care sheets. Any thoughts?

(what is the correct name of claw? I know that isn't right...)
