Snake ate some of the wood chips?!

My small (~150g) bp just ate one of the wood chips that stuck to a punctured thawed mouse she ate.

It's zoo med forest floor cypress bedding. At first it was sticking out of her mouth for a bit and I figured she'd be able to get it out, but then she just swallowed it.

Can she get impacted/otherwise hurt? How freaked out should I be, if at all?

Don't worry she'll be fine. Think about all the bones snakes digest with every meal. Then think about whether or not you think they can handle a tiny piece of wood.

Thanks so much guys! I figured this stuff had to be snake safe more or less since it's supposed to be, and the same thought crossed my mind about the bones.

I'm just a noob so this is the first this has happened to me!

    She's acting normal. Thanks again!

Just imagine all the stuff their food picks up in the wild...probably dirt & rocks and stuff too.

They've got some potent stomach acid in them. Most animals have to break down foods first, but swallowing the prey whole means all that breaking down is done via the stomach acid. Little bit of wood is not a problem hehe.
